“Life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the bumble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces. Smell the rain, and feel the wind. Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams.” ~Ashley Smith~

I’ve been away from blogging, and away from the computer for a little while, as I’m sure you may have noticed. I’m slowly getting back into the swing and rhythm of life. And as always re-examining certain aspects of my goals, and fine tuning them. My camera was also gathering dust in the closet. With all the drama of my father’s illness, inspiration has been lacking. Slowly, but surely my camera is seeing the light of day again. Because in the end, no matter how things turn out for my dad and my family, life must go on, and will go on.
Here’s a shot of daily life, taken today of my miss sunshine being not so sunny, as it was time for a nap.

I can’t resist this week’s I Heart Faces theme challenge, “all about babies”. I have so many wonderful pictures of my little girl. I spent countless hours doing practice photo sessions with her from the day she was born. I have so many favorites, it’s difficult to select just one. She is barely 2 months old in the image below, but yet her face is so expressive.

So I’m playing catch-up with the creativity boot camp assignments. I’m not taking too many photos lately. I’m lacking focus. There’s so much to think about, too many life events occuring at the same time. I will keep doing these asssignments though. I do need to unblock creatively. Because I know without my creative outlets, depression can follow in tough times, and that’s a place I don’t want to go to.

Tha fabulous Maegan has put together a creativity boot camp. If you are looking to reinvigorate your creativity, or are longing to find your creative self, then take the journey too. Join in the fun here. It’s the third day already, I’m a little late in posting. I will try to follow along as much as possible, and post the results from the daily prompts here.
Today’s prompt is “multilayered”. Yep, thought of onions and several other participants did as well. So I went for garlic instead. Not as multilayered as onions, but good enough. And they photograph well in the late evening sun.
